We got a great addition to our building from artist Bonnie Grey at BlueStar Barn Quilts.  She painted us a quilt featuring icons of some of the history that made Pierce & Co and Hallsboro what it is today.  From farming, hunting, sawmills, trains to tools and hardware.  There'll be a lot more of these quilts in the area soon, along with a map to follow and check them all out.  Thank you Mrs. Bonnie!!

Earlier this summer, we got a wonderful surprise by receiving a Backing Small Businesses Grant presented by American Express, in partnership with Main Street America. We're thrilled to be among the 500 recipients of this program!

This grant has allowed us to accelerate our north entrance project that we started last year for our 125th Anniversary. It'll significantly improve the safety of visitors entering and leaving the store, as well as improve the attractiveness and functionality of our entry way.

Thank you for all our support and patience while we keep working on improving our infrastructure! 

We've cut through 16" of 100 year old brick and installed a new entrance on the parking lot side!  This will provide a safer experience for our customers and brightens up the interior of the store.  More improvements to come in this area!!

We've been busy unloading newly arrived mouth blown, hand formed glass ware from Poland.  These decorative and functional pieces are made by artisans in southern Poland.  We've got a limited supply of them directly from the manufactuer.  Please come by and check it out.
